Fresh Proposals alternative: track and protect the proposals you already write

Fresh Proposals is an affordable proposal builder for small businesses, agencies and professional services, with e-signatures, payments and a two-way HubSpot sync. Its plans limit active proposals. HelpRange does not build proposals: it sends the document you already have as a tracked, protected link with an offer page and “Accept offer”, and drafts the next offer from your last one with AI.

When Fresh Proposals is the better choice

  • You want the lowest-priced builder. Starter at $20 a month (billed yearly) includes an editor, e-signatures, analytics and PDF import.
  • HubSpot is your CRM. Fresh Proposals has a native two-way HubSpot sync; HelpRange works through webhooks, Make or n8n.
  • You bill on acceptance. Stripe advance payments, and LawPay or CPACharge for law and accounting firms; HelpRange has no payments.
  • Clients choose packages. Interactive pricing with optional items and editable quantities.

When HelpRange fits better

  • You already have the proposal. Upload the PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Excel file and send a link – nothing to rebuild in an editor. Need a new one? The AI offer generator drafts it from your last offer, with prices only from you, and nothing is sent before you confirm.
  • Your price list must not travel. The reader’s e-mail as a watermark on every page, download and print blocked, a confirmed e-mail before the document opens, an expiry date, and access you switch off when the offer ends.
  • The sales team grows. One price for the whole team – Pro is $39 a month however many salespeople you add, with no proposal limit.
  • The deal needs more than a proposal. Data rooms with an NDA before access, “I have read and accept” for key documents, automatic redaction and Excel files shown as a spreadsheet – in the same tool.
  • You want to know who is ready. An engagement score from 0 to 100 for every recipient, “Accept offer” and “Request contact” on the link, and an alert with the score when they click.

Using HelpRange with or instead of Fresh Proposals

If you already write offers in Word or as PDFs, HelpRange lets you keep doing that: upload the file, add an offer page with “Accept offer” and “Request contact”, and send the link – or let the AI offer generator draft the next offer from your last one. Keep Fresh Proposals if signatures and payments inside the proposal matter more than protection.

FAQ

Is HelpRange cheaper than Fresh Proposals?

Not for a single user with up to 10 active proposals: Fresh Proposals Starter is $20 a month billed yearly, HelpRange Pro $31 billed yearly. HelpRange Pro has no proposal limit and covers the whole team; Fresh Proposals does not say on its pricing page whether its prices are per user (freshproposals.com/pricing, 8 November 2026).

Can clients sign in HelpRange?

No. HelpRange records “Accept offer” or “Request contact” with the client’s comment and engagement score. Fresh Proposals has e-signatures with multiple signers.

Can HelpRange write proposals?

From your last offer, yes: the AI offer generator drafts the same sections and a price table, prices only from your prompt and template, and you preview the PDF before anything is created. There is no editor for designing proposals.

Which protects a price list better?

HelpRange: the reader’s e-mail as a watermark on every page, a confirmed e-mail before the document opens, download and print blocking, expiry and revoke. Fresh Proposals can control PDF download before signing and closes a proposal after its validity date.

Send your next proposal as a tracked link

Upload the PDF, add an offer page with “Accept offer” and get an alert when the client opens it. $39 a month for the team – no per-user fees, no proposal limits.
