Things to check
- Billing is up front – a quarter or a year, so a deal that ends in week 3 still costs the full term.
- Downloads are limited to "up to 4GB of data at one time" – fine for most rooms, worth knowing for large exports.
- Watermark content – the page says watermarks are applied per role; whether each viewer's e-mail and IP are printed is not stated. Test it in the trial.

Both publish flat prices with unlimited users. SecureDocs has a human Q&A module, SAML SSO, SOC 2 Type 2 and US or EU hosting – a strong choice for a formal process. HelpRange is cheaper for short deals ($199 for 90 days), adds page-by-page reading time, visit replays and AI answers from the room's documents, and records each NDA signature with e-mail, time and IP.
